
John J. Hosay, MD
Biography:
Dr. Hosay was born in Jersey City. His father was Director of Urology at the Jersey City Medical Center and Clinical Professor of Urology at Seton Hall Medical School. His mother was Head Urology Nurse at the Jersey City Medical Center.
Dr. Hosay graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Medical School in Jalisco, Mexico. He did a rotating internship at Jersey City Medical Center and his Surgery and Urology residency at UMDNJ, now Rutgers Newark. He has been in private practice at his present location since 1983. Dr. Hosay is former president of the Hudson County Medical Society and a former member of the Executive Committee at Christ Hospital. He also served as Chief of Urology at St. Francis Hospital from 1990 until its closing in 1995. Currently, he is Director of Urology at Hoboken University Hospital and an attending Urologist at Christ Hospital and Jersey City Medical Center.
Dr. Hosay’s office is located at 2555 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07304, and he can be contacted at 201-433-9666. At present, he sees patients Tuesday-Thursday at his practice in Jersey City by appointment. On Mondays and Fridays, Dr. Hosay schedules elective surgery.
