Samuel K. Z. Chen, MD, is a board-certified urologist who practices with Sovereign Health Medical Group in Dunellen, NJ.

Dr. Chen received both his undergraduate and medical education at Taipei Medical College in Taiwan, where he also completed an internship at McKay Memorial Hospital. He then went on to study epidemiology at the Oklahoma University School of Public Health. He completed a residency in general surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore before residency training in urology at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI, and St. Luke-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Chen has published and presented on topics including metastatic prostate cancer and the spectrum of urologic disease in people with HIV/AIDS.
