Dr. Alexander Biener is a physician dedicated to both primary care and the practice of gastroenterology, liver disease and nutrition. Having trained extensively at the Bronx Veterans Administration Center and The Mount Sinai Medical Center, along with 13 other New York City hospitals since the late 1980’s, Dr. Biener is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Utilizing the latest scientific advances and over 25 years of personal experience, Dr. Biener strives to care for his patients with a variety of medical issues, while improving their health maintenance through a variety of diets, exercise, and other life style modifications.

As much as is possible in these rapidly changing and trying times, Dr. Biener and a dedicated staff of medical professionals deliver prompt, attentive, and personal health care. For several years, Dr. Biener was a clinical instructor for the New York Medical College. He gives lectures on popular diets, and runs a summer preceptorship for high school and pre-medical college students. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the Bergen County Medical Society and chairs the River Vale Health Advisory Committee.
