Morteza Shahamat, MD, is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Anatomical Pathology and practices in Mahwah, NJ.

Dr. Shahamat received his medical degree from Tehran University School of Medicine in Tehran, Iran. His postgraduate training includes residencies in anatomical pathology at Beekman Downtown Hospital in Manhattan, pathology medicine at Nassau County Medical Center on Long Island, and internal medicine at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson and the former Bergen Pines County Hospital (now Bergen Regional Medical Center) in Paramus. He established his private practice in 1991.
