Nilay Shah, MD
Biography:
Nilay Shah, MD, practices neurology in Fair Lawn, NJ, with a practice emphasis on multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, headaches, and general neurology.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He then was an intern in primary care/internal medicine and a resident in neurology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Shah went on to complete a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Shah was named the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Physician of the Year in 2005 and 2008, and also has been honored by NJ Monthly Magazine as a “Top Doctor in Neurology.” He has given dozens of presentations to other physicians and the public on topics ranging from overcoming the cognitive effects of chemotherapy to the causes of multiple sclerosis.
